Certified Virgin Voyages fanatic and TravelManagers personal travel manager (PTM) Jo Patton won the coveted ‘Mermillionaire’ incentive, sailing away with one million Velocity Points, which she is already keen to use towards another Virgin Voyages cruise.
The NSW-based PTM set her sights on winning the Australian agent incentive after meeting Sir Richard Branson and Virgin Voyages CEO Nirmal Saverimuttu due to her impressive sales performance in 2023.
Ms Patton, who has sailed on five Resilient Lady voyages since December, spent 12 months learning as much as possible about Virgin Voyages and building an online client community who love the product.
“My clients see my passion and enthusiasm for the brand and I now have clients – and even strangers – recommending me on social media as the go-to agent for Virgin Voyages in Australia,” she said.
“It’s such a great product – my clients love the rock-star onboard atmosphere and the fact that it’s unapologetically adults-only, not to mention the all-inclusive elements, which even cover things like specialty dining, gratuities, essential drinks and Wi-Fi,” she said.
Ms Patton was one of three TravelManagers PTMs in the incentive program’s top 10 advisors and in winning, she has cemented her place as the number-one Virgin Voyages agent in Australia.
“One million Velocity Points is a mind-blowing amount. I hope to use them to fly to San Juan and Europe to join the Virgin Voyages cruises I have lined up for 2025,” she added.
