Spain Tourism Board Turespaña has appointed specialist travel marketing and communications agency Helm to support the organisation’s public relations and marketing strategy in Australia and New Zealand following a competitive tender process.
Based in Brisbane and Sydney, Helm will be responsible for promoting and reinforcing travel to Spain among the travel trade and media.
Turespaña Director of Southeast Asia, Australia & New Zealand Monica Sanchez said ANZ is a key market for Spain and Helm’s appointment will reinforce the tourism board’s 20-year commitment with a continuous physical presence.
“With the support of the team at Helm, we will keep working to show Australians and New Zealanders why Spain should be on the top of their list year-round,” Ms Sanchez said.

Helm Co-Founder Andrew Cavallaro said: “Spain is a destination that is very close to our hearts and one that we’re excited to help promote in the Australian and New Zealand markets.”

Turespaña promotes Spain as a one-of-a-kind leisure and business destination in the markets of South East Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
The Spain Tourism Board supports the travel industry by providing market intelligence, networking opportunities, product updates and training.
