Coming to a capital city near you soon, Viking is staging free Explorer Sessions for advisors and their clients to receive the latest info and updates on the cruise line’s ocean, river and expedition ships and voyages.
Running from 27 February – 21 March 2024, the Explorer Sessions roadshow will visit Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, Gold Coast and Perth.
The complementary information presentations allow attendees to learn about travelling with Viking and discover its river, ocean and expedition journeys across seven continents.
Viking Managing Director ANZ Michelle Black said new sessions were added for 2024 based on advisor and guest feedback.
Attendees can select relevant sessions with the 45-75-minute presentations starting at 10am and concluding at 6:30pm.
“Information sessions have been designed to deliver specific information relevant to the traveller’s agenda,” she said.
“The ‘Introduction to Viking’ session is perfect for those new to us, covering the difference between our ocean, river and expedition voyages and what life is like on board.
“Our destination sessions are for those who know where they want to explore and our unique destinations are dedicated to our loyal guests who are looking for something new or different.”
Complimentary morning tea, drinks and canapés are served before each session, providing a networking opportunity for guests and advisors.
Ms Black added that agents can leverage the information sessions to educate clients, convert new bookings and earn extra commission.
