Virtuoso wrapped up its 31st annual Virtuoso Travel Week in Las Vegas in style over the weekend with a gala night featuring 3000 of the biggest names in luxury travel.
The luxury network has also honoured the most revered travel agencies, advisors, and preferred partners with Virtuoso Awards.
Network peers determine Virtuoso Award winners: partners vote for agencies and advisors, and travel agency members select the winning partners.
Thousands of votes were cast in this year’s awards, showing a high level of engagement in the honours.
“I’m always impressed and inspired by how our members and partners constantly innovate to deliver unforgettable travel experiences to their clients.”
Virtuoso Chairman and CEO Matthew D. Upchurch
“It’s appropriate that we honour our most remarkable Virtuosos on the final night of our annual ‘family reunion,’ when we’ve celebrated an incredible week of forging human connections,” he said.
“Those connections are the critical difference that sets Virtuoso apart and bolsters our collective reputation, motivating travellers to seek out our high-touch network.”
For the fifth year running, Australia’s luxury travel advisory group, The Goldman Group, took out the Top Virtuoso Agency Producer (Asia Pacific) award.
The award recognises all companies under the Goldman Travel Group umbrella, including Goldman Travel Corporation; Travelcall; SmartFlyer Australia; Quintessentially Travel Australia and The Cruise Centre.
Meanwhile, Spencer Travel won this year’s coveted Most Engaged Air/Services Member Agency Award.
They were recognised for their remarkable accomplishments, including constant innovation, exceptional knowledge and
stellar service, that helps set Virtuoso apart.
Spencer Travel’s Managing Director, Penny Spencer said “receiving global recognition is truly an honour, and we are thrilled
to be named alongside such brilliant Virtuoso award winners.”
Airline of the Year went to Emirates, Sustainable Tourism Leadership – Preferred Partner was taken out by Nomadic Expeditions and Cruise Line of the Year went to Crystal Cruises.
Congratulations to all the winners!
