One of the longest-established tourism representation companies in Australia and New Zealand, The Walshe Group has marked its 50th anniversary in 2026 with a client celebration in Sydney.
The tourism representation company brought together representatives from many of its longest-standing client relationships with several travelling from across Australia and overseas for the event.
The Walshe Group represents many of the world’s leading airlines, tourism boards and travel brands across Australia and New Zealand and has worked with 14 tourism boards over the past five years alone.
Hosted by Managing Director & CEO Jacqui Walshe, the celebration included senior representatives from Delta Air Lines, All Nippon Airways (ANA), Lufthansa Group, China Airlines, Brand USA, Tourism Ireland and Korea Tourism Organization.

That guest list read like a who’s who of global airlines and tourism boards selling to the Australian outbound market with several linking top destinations for Aussie travellers across the US, Japan, Korea and Europe.

The Walshe Group’s executive team were joined by Board Chair Ed Sims and Non-Executive Directors Frances-Anne Keeler and Dave Simmons, alongside the U.S. Commercial Service.

Walshe said: “To be joined by so many of our long-term partners, along with our Board of Directors and executives from The Walshe Group, to celebrate the relationships and shared success we have enjoyed over the past 50 years made for a very special evening.”

“Our business has always been built on strong relationships, mutual trust and a commitment to delivering results. We are incredibly grateful to the clients, partners and team members who have been part of our journey and look forward to continuing these partnerships for many years to come,” she said.
The anniversary dinner forms part of a year-long program of celebrations marking the company’s 50-year travel industry milestone.
KARRYON UNPACKS: A representation company’s value to the trade lives in the relationships it has spent decades building, and the celebration shows how much of the airline and tourism-board landscape Australian advisors sell sits behind The Walshe Group.
