World Cup fever was running high among a group of Brazilian soccer fans on board a flight to Russia last week for the international football tournament.

The video, which you can watch below, shows a bemused flight attendant being a good sport while trying to complete a safety demonstration in front of a plane full of boisterous Brazilians.

She carries on with her demonstration, in the midst of the wild, energic chants and calls of the passengers.

When the clip was posted on A Fly Guy’s Cabin Crew Lounge, Facebook page many viewers laughed at the rowdy reception that the woman’s safety demo received.

“At least they were paying attention (in their own way) rather than reading a paper, talking or sleeping,” one viewer commented.

Not everyone was impressed though, with some saying the passengers were jeopardising their own safety by acting up during the presentation.

“Whenever cabin crew is doing a safety demo. Please pay attention because in case of an emergency, and you did not even listen carefully, you don’t know when to inflate your lifejacket etc. and you might end up lost in the middle of an upcoming chaos.”

“This is not a joke to make fun of. We shall, must and should follow and listen to what they are saying,” she went on to say.

It does seem as if the passengers mistook the flight attendant for one of their favourite players on the Brazilian team.

Let’s just put it this way. Nothing can contain the love that Brazilians have for soccer.

Luckily for them, it was a safe flight and they didn’t need to put any of that missed safety information into action.
