Spoiled for choice with over 200 wineries, Stellenbosch is the most popular and the most famous winery region in South Africa. The reason? You can not take a bad picture. Oh and the wine is memorable too.

In an ever changing, highly competitive world of wine, this historical town known as the City of Oaks, founded in 1679 (yes, much older than Australian wineries), located in the Western Cape province, is a hilly region that offers an excellent climate that creates the perfect environment for producing viticulture.
