Welcome With Pride is Australia’s first LGBTQIA+ inclusive tourism accreditation that allows travel businesses to stand out with verified inclusivity and inclusive guest experiences without pinkwashing.
According to Welcome With Pride’s community research survey, LGBTQIA+ travellers are forecast to spend AUD$600 billion on travel worldwide, yet 60 per cent of visitors report hiding their gender or sexuality while on holiday in Australia.
A whopping 88 per cent of those surveyed said staff training is essential for the visitor experience and 96 per cent of those surveyed preferred to book accredited experiences.

Other surveys showed Melbourne ranked 19th and Sydney was in 27th place for top-rated destinations for LGBTQIA+ travellers in 2025.
Similar research highlighted that only one in seven organisations (9%) equips employees with the necessary LGBTQIA+ destination info for business travel.

The Welcome With Pride Accreditation – Australia’s first LGBTIQIA+ inclusive tourism accreditation – verifies tourism products’ genuine, proven commitment to inclusivity, earning the trust, loyalty and bookings of LGBTIQIA+ visitors.
Travel businesses can complete 30-minute Inclusivity Training for teams and go on to earn accreditation through the program. Single licenses per person are valid for one year.
The tourism-specific e-learning course is built on research with practical applications for immediate inclusivity improvements.

Welcome With Pride has delivered inclusivity training to thousands of businesses in partnership with industry leaders, such as ATEC, Hilton, Destination New South Wales and Tourism Western Australia.
Topdeck recently introduced an industry-first Inclusivity Policy, doubling down on its commitment to creating safe and welcoming trip experiences for young LGBTQIA+ travellers.
