100 days to go! NTIA tickets go on sale

Exactly 100 days out from the National Travel Industry Awards (NTIA), tickets for the travel industry’s night of nights are now on sale.

Exactly 100 days out from the National Travel Industry Awards (NTIA), tickets for the travel industry’s night of nights are now on sale.

Tickets for NTIA 2023, which will be staged in Melbourne for the first time in nearly 20 years on 18 November, will be allocated on a first come first served basis, so the Australian Federation of Travel Agents (AFTA) urges interested parties to get in early.

“Considering the high number of inquiries received already, we anticipate rapid ticket and table sales for NTIA 2023,” AFTA CEO Dean Long said.

“To ensure you don’t miss out, we encourage you to secure your spot early.”

ATAS-accredited businesses and allied members can pick up tickets for $230 or $2,300 per table of ten, while industry stakeholders and others can purchase tickets for $270 or $2,700 per table of ten.

NTIA has garnered a record 1,700 nominations ahead of the industry showcase, which AFTA says will be a different event this year.

“NTIA 2023 has introduced some exciting changes and expansions to the award categories, with every sector of our industry represented and celebrated,” Long remarked.

“The Awards will include presentations, dinner, post-dinner entertainment, dancing, networking opportunities, and of course the afterparty hosted by Viking.”

Last month, AFTA revealed Singapore Airlines as the major sponsor of NTIA for the second straight year.

Long said members were eagerly anticipating “the prospect of coming together to honour the exceptional individuals and businesses in Australia’s travel sector”.

“We are grateful for the continuous support in hosting the NTIAs from our major sponsor, Singapore Airlines,” he added.

In May, AFTA said it was looking to organise co-ordinated flights (subject to demand) from each Australian capital city.
