Could you imagine spending eight months at sea? Viking passengers who opt for the line’s Ultimate World Cruise will be doing just that on board the beautiful Viking Sun.

Billed as the world’s longest cruise, the voyage of a lifetime stops in 53 countries on six continents.

As Viking puts it, passengers on this cruise will “collect more travel milestones during one cruise than most people do in a lifetime”.

Departing from London the ship calls into so many incredible ports across Europe, Scandinavia, Canada, The United States, The Carribean, South America, The South Pacific, New Zealand, Australia, Asia and the Middle East.

The London to London return trip that leaves August 31, 2019, doesn’t come cheap though, with the adventure of a lifetime staring at a cool $115,995 Aussie dollars.

That price is if you’re willing to spend eight months in a Veranda Suite. Those who are willing to put down $342,895 can live in opulent luxury for eight months in the Owners Suite.

The Owner’s Suite is larger than most people’s homes and includes a living room filled with original artwork, a veranda, an ocean-view sauna, a 12-person boardroom, dining room, kitchen, extensive wine collection and in-suite chef.

No matter which suite guests are in though, their time on board will be luxe with all passengers having access to the infinity pool and spa with thermal suite and snow grotto.

There are yoga and cookery classes, theatre productions, jazz bars and oh so many dining options.

Eight months of doing life like that while discovering the world sounds pretty inviting to us…and there are still spots left on board…now to win the lottery!
