Don’t worry about moving money around, you don’t need to! Flights to Greece are so cheap right now that you’ll end up spending more on a new suitcase than a one-way ticket.

Scoot launched its ‘Deal of the Decade’ sale this week, and just as the name suggests, it’s packed with deals that you’re unlikely to have seen in the past and future decade.

No seriously!

$299 flights from Australia to Europe, when have you ever seen such an offer?

The special fare is available on flights from Perth to Athens taking off on select dates between now and May (perfect timing if you were recently dumped, looking for an immediate change of scenery or did a Bridget Jones [the first movie] and made an unexpected exit from the workforce).

Fares from Gold Coast, Sydney and Australia to Athens are almost as cheap, starting from $309.

If Greece isn’t on the bucket list for 2019 (although you’d probably add it on for $299 fares), the airline is also offering flights to Japan from $209, Thailand from $149, Singapore from $119 and Vietnam from $159.

All the airline’s flights are via Singapore and fares don’t include checked luggage or food.

Sale ends 28 February at 2.59am (AEDT).
