Queensland is open and Virgin Australia’s epic ‘Queensland is Good to Go’ sale starts today, running until midnight AEST this Friday 17 December 2021, or until sold out. 

In one of the largest state-wide sales offered by Virgin Australia, travellers can enjoy discounted airfares to destinations such as Brisbane, Cairns, Gold Coast, Hamilton Island, Sunshine Coast and Townsville. 

The ‘Queensland is Good to Go’ sale fares can be booked at virginaustralia.com and include Velocity Frequent Flyer Points and up to double Status Credits, as part of Velocity’s continued commitment to loyal members.

The airline said flight searches on virginaustralia.com increased by almost 120 per cent last Monday afternoon, following the border re-opening announcement by the Queensland Government earlier that day.

It seems travellers are excited to visit Queensland over the summer holiday period, with nearly 90 per cent of new Virgin Australia bookings for the December and January period.
