A Beary Nice Coffee: Café In Paris Uses Giant Teddies To Implement Safe Social Distancing

As if sitting down for a coffee in a Parisian café, on a beautiful cobbled street isn't dreamy enough, now locals are enjoying the comfort of giant teddy bears, with the goal to make social distancing a little more enjoyable.

As if sitting down for a coffee in a Parisian café, on a beautiful cobbled street isn’t dreamy enough, now locals are enjoying the comfort of giant teddy bears, with the goal to make social distancing a little more enjoyable.

We’ve seen a number of creative ways to implement safe social distancing around the world so far; from tiny greenhouses, to makeshift treehouse-like boxes, pool noodle hats and now, the cutest of all, giant teddy bears.

The café in Paris has been snapped with the bears sitting in-between customers, making sure everybody follows the rules, with a big friendly smile.

The hardest thing must be resisting the urge to cuddle the fluffy fellas!

The photo of the bears sitting at the outdoor tables in Paris was recenrly shared online and, as you can imagine, it has gone OFF!

Each bear is basically the size of a human, taking up a whole seat, and being the perfect social distancing companion, maintaining the 1m rule, which is the current recommended safe distance in France.

According to Psychology Today, teddy bears make you friendlier and maybe healthier too. The remedy we all need at a time like this.
