One&Only will open its first Fijian resort in 2029, marking a major boost for the country’s tourism industry and luxury travel offering.
The ultra-luxury brand will debut in the Yasawa Islands, with a flagship resort on Nacula Island complemented by a small collection of branded private homes.
The new development is expected to strengthen Fiji’s appeal among high-value visitors while creating opportunities for local communities and businesses.
The project is being delivered through a partnership between Kerzner International, the operator of One&Only, and BSP Life, one of Fiji’s largest institutional investors. Both organisations have emphasised their commitment to environmentally sensitive development and collaboration with Nacula’s traditional landowners, alongside support from the Fijian Government.

“Fiji has long been a coveted addition to our global portfolio, and we’re thrilled to introduce this remarkable location to One&Only’s discerning guests,” Kerzner CEO Philippe Zuber said.
“Unlocking this destination aligns perfectly with our strategic growth in the Asia-Pacific region and reinforces our distinctive approach, continually elevating our commitment to delivering exceptional experiences, all while showcasing the warmth and hospitality of the Fijian spirit on a global stage.”
Set across 127 acres of beachfront, the resort will offer 40 villas and suites, six dining venues, and One&Only’s signature Club One wellness centre.
“Guided by shared principles of respectful development and a deep commitment to preserving Fiji’s ancestral legacy, we are thrilled to partner with BSP Life on this landmark project,” Kerzner President of Real Estate Juan Aguilar said.
“Inspired by the spirit of Fiji, the design, character and experiences of the resort and Private Homes will be infused with the soul of the islands.”

While details on the residences remain limited, Kerzner confirmed 20 private homes will be available within the community and go on sale this November.
“This is another pivotal moment in our growth journey,” BSP Life Fiji Managing Director Michael Nacola said.
“Our investment portfolio has evolved significantly in the last decade, driven by disciplined, strategic partnerships and partnering with Kerzner on this exciting venture ushers in a new era of collaboration between a renowned leading global hospitality brand and a prominent South Pacific institution.”
The future property adds to One&Only’s pipeline of upcoming resorts in the United States and the Caribbean.
For Fiji, the announcement couldn’t come at a better time. In July 2025, the Pacific nation recorded its busiest month ever for tourism arrivals, led overwhelmingly by Australian travellers. Read more about that here.
