On the eve of the 2024 Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in Samoa and King Charles’ royal visit, Sheraton Samoa Beach Resort has officially reopened following significant AUD$15 million renovations, including updated rooms, restaurants and other guest experiences.
It’s perfect timing as some visitors are staying on Pacific Explorer while CHOGM is in Apia to accommodate 4,000 attendees on the island nation of 220,000.
The comprehensive Sheraton Samoa Beach Resort refurb extends 133 modernised guestrooms, including six suites, offering ocean and garden views.
The island-inspired design for the renovation showcases the natural beauty and cultural heritage of Samoa, reflecting the island’s coastal landscape in ocean blues, sandy beiges and natural wood tones with a focus on sustainable and natural materials.
Three onsite restaurants and bar also underwent a refresh with South Pacific Restaurant, Apolima Fale and Solent Bar dishing up international cuisine.
Sheraton Samoa Beach Resort also offers updated guest experiences, including a large lagoon-style pool with a swim-up pool bar and the Manaia Polynesian Spa with treatments from traditional Samoan massage techniques to modern wellness therapy.
