Once you've experienced Hawaiian Airlines' Plumeria Lounge you can never go back. Travelling through airports will officially be ruined for you. And flying with other airlines, well that just won't cut it.

Once you’ve experienced Hawaiian Airlines’ Plumeria Lounge you can never go back. Travelling through airports will officially be ruined for you. And flying with other airlines, well that just won’t cut it.

Okay, so that’s a little dramatic, but Hawaiian Airlines has definitely turned up the comfort of flying internationally via Honolulu International Airport (HNL).

The airline today opened the doors to its new business class lounge, the ‘Plumeria Lounge’.

Located on the third floor of Hawaiian Airlines’ HNL inter-island terminal, the lounge is designed to offer a ‘warm’ and ‘spa-inspired’ environment for guests travelling to any of the carrier’s 11 international destinations.

This is achieved through grounded in warm neutrals and wood tones as well as the contemporary sense of Hawai’i evoked through the choice of materials and in architectural cues like wooden ceiling fans.

Bold pops of color are found throughout the space, with accents in the azures, yellows and greens that define the island landscape. Artwork includes striking, original black-and-white photography of Hawaiian’s signature plumeria flower by Honolulu photographer Rae Huo.

“We are constantly looking for ways to improve the experience for our guests on the ground and in the air.”

Peter Ingram, Hawaiian Airlines Chief Commercial Officer

“As our network continues to expand, we are excited to offer this brand-new amenity for our international business class guests and other travelers seeking a full-service lounge experience.”

The opening of the Plumeria Lounge completes a two-phase, multimillion dollar investment to also renovate five of the airline’s Premier Clubs throughout the State of Hawai‘i, including the flagship location on the second floor of HNL, and locations in Kahului, Kona, Hilo and Līhu‘e.

Here are four reasons you’ll want to ‘blossom’ in the Plumeria Lounge:
