Want to fly from Australia to Vietnam for much less? For one day only, on 8 August, Vietjet is offering passengers 88 per cent off airfares to any destination in its network.
Available for 24 hours from 00:00 to 23:59 (GMT +7), the discounted Vietjet fares are subject to availability (plus other terms and conditions) for travel between 21 August 2023 to 31 March 2024.
To take advantage of the sale, travellers can make bookings at www.vietjetair.com or log on to the Vietjet Air app and enter the code SUMMER88.
As well as score super cheap tickets, travellers can also nab an extra e-voucher worth AU$6, accumulate loyalty points, and enjoy other benefits through the SkyJoy loyalty program or SkyJoy app.
Online check-in opens
Meanwhile, passengers departing Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, and other destinations across the Vietjet network, are now able to check-in online for flights.
By checking in online and downloading their boarding pass at www.vietjetair.com or on the Vietjet Air mobile app, passengers can avoid check-in queues at their point of departure.
Online check-in is open from 24 hours to 90 minutes prior to departure for international flights (and 60 minutes for domestic flights).
Vietnam’s largest private airline, Vietjet commenced operations in Australia in April this year, touching down at Melbourne Airport for the first time on 9 April. Flights to Sydney and Brisbane started shortly thereafter.
Last month, Vietjet upped frequencies for the second time, growing capacity from 20 to 34 flights per week.
