New Caledonia’s national carrier Aircalin celebrated its 40th anniversary on 24 November 2023 with a renewed commitment to a more sustainable future through a new tagline: ‘New Caledonia, it’s in our nature’ and logo to mark the momentous occasion.
The new campaign will run until 15 December 2023 and features a hero video, A Flower in the Sky, which was shot in New Caledonia and will broadcast on its aircraft fleet and social media to celebrate the 40th anniversary.
In addition, Aircalin has a promotion with an online competition to win tickets plus a prize of two golden tickets offered aboard 20 flights between 24 November – 1 December 2023.

The new brand campaign and signature will demonstrate the airline’s commitment to sustainable development and activity that is more respectful to people and nature.
Conscious of New Caledonia’s precious ecosystem, Aircalin is fully committed to reducing its environmental footprint, in particular to the International Civil Aviation Organisation’s commitments towards zero carbon emission by 2050.
Formalised in the first half of 2023, the company’s sustainable development approach focuses on reducing its environmental footprint through four commitments.
These include the reduction of CO2 through the acquisition of A330neo and A320neo aircraft and contribution to environmental compensation through naturActionNC, which it co-founded with OPT-NC and Arc en ciel service.
Aircalin also promotes sustainable consumption through the use of recycled and recyclable items on board and within its operations; and contributes to environmental protection and conservation as a Buckingham Palace Declaration signatory and other partners.
Aircalin, along with New Caledonia Tourism, recently hosted Australian trade partners at the annual Rendez-Vous Workshop.
