Airline customers pranked on Facebook

Funny? Smart? Or just kind of sad? We're still trying to decide after reading about these two pranksters that used fake Facebook accounts to fool airline and general retail customers.

Funny? Smart? Or just kind of sad? We’re still trying to decide after reading about these two pranksters that used fake Facebook accounts to fool airline and general retail customers.

The pair took to an airline’s page earlier this month to respond to customer complaints under the made up account ‘Customer Service’.

Targeting what they’ve dubbed as ‘petty complaints’, the comedians left cheeky responses to a number of passengers.

Among them is Kathy, who complained via Facebook about difficulties she and her husband were having on the airline’s website.

‘Customer Service’ responded sarcastically saying ‘maybe you shouldn’t book his airline travel an hour before flying’.

Of course, this further upset Kathy, who said that as a customer service rep they could be more helpful and suggest a remedy.

To this ‘Customer Service’ said that they had found the issue Kathy was facing and ‘it was due to all the porn website’.

Kathy wasn’t the only airline customer to be fooled by the fake account.

There’s also Lisa who left a message for the airline telling them about her difficulty getting through to the right person via the phone.

‘Customer Service’ responded by telling Lisa that they’d left ’14 voice mails with a resolution to your problem’.
