Qantas opens the doors of its NZ premium lounges in Auckland and Wellington today just in time for the July school holiday travel period with new and refreshed guest experiences available in the Auckland First Lounge and Auckland Business Lounge.
Eligible passengers will be greeted by a new coffee cart in the Auckland Business Lounge with barista-made coffees available from 4am daily.
All guests can enjoy a new menu of snacks and light refreshments, featuring local cheeses, salads, Neil Perry’s bircher muesli and Kapiti ice-creams plus a full range of beverages.
Qantas chief customer officer Stephanie Tully said: “Since recommencing our trans-Tasman services, we’ve seen strong demand across all routes and the recent removal of pre-departure testing by the New Zealand Government has seen a further spike in demand, resulting in some of our strongest days of trans-Tasman sales since the borders reopened.”
“We’re pleased to be able to reopen our New Zealand lounge facilities on the eve of what we expect to be a very busy school holiday period across the Tasman.”
The Auckland lounges will be open from 4am to 7pm daily, while the Wellington lounge will be open two hours before every Qantas flight.
