We’re pretty sure that in the future, the prospect of a 24-hour flight from Australia to London won’t seem too bad – that’s if you happen to be lucky enough to fly First Class.
We’re talking pimped-out private suites with king-sized beds (convertible to a comfy couch at the touch of a button), 42-inch TV screens, tablets, and a “smart in-flight service system” designed to anticipate passengers’ needs – it’s pretty much a hotel room above the clouds.
And a hotel room it certainly is: London design firm Seymourpowell’s First Spaces concept is inspired by the luxury boutique hotel experience; it’s just that these rooms will be fitted on a Airbus A380, the world’s largest passenger jet.
Check out this sexy cool video:
Seymourpowell found there was a desire for high-end premium service after surveying passengers, and it set out to redefine first class with hotel-inspired suites that are less like a “cubicle”.
Nailed it, guys. N.A.I.L.E.D I.T.
The firm has unveiled designs for six private rooms, each fitted with a retractable door.

Mile-high club anyone?

It will be just like at home…
Seymourpowell’s concept has been nominated for a Crystal Cabin Award at the Aircraft Interiors Expo in Hamburg, Germany, and we all know how much the Germans appreciate good style.
