From Maccas to Merlo: BNE international dining to take-off with 13 new & refreshed venues

Get set, Brissie flyers: Brisbane Airport’s BNE International Terminal will open 13 new and reimagined food and beverage outlets between late December 2025 and 2027, including the brand-new 1,000sqm Dining Precinct.

Get set, Brissie flyers: Brisbane Airport’s BNE International Terminal will open 13 new and reimagined food and beverage outlets between late December 2025 and 2027, including the brand-new 1,000sqm Dining Precinct.

The Dining Precinct will be Brisbane Airport’s largest restaurant destination, showcasing a mix of well-known and popular brands.

It will feature an artisan bakery, gourmet deli, specialty coffee shop, an all-day bar and restaurant, a full-service cocktail bar and a raw bar alongside Mexican-, Asian- and Greek-inspired eateries.

Brand-new concepts for departing passengers include Brisbane-based Bellissimo Coffee alongside McDonald’s (the first to open in late December), Hungry Jack’s and KFC at the International Terminal for the first time.

Other new outlets include Manna, a Mediterranean-inspired bar; Liv Eat and Sushi Jiro grab’n’go kiosks; Noodles XO Asian cuisine; and a Merlo Café from the local coffee roaster. Windmill & Co, on the airside after security, will receive an upgraded look and menu.

New addition Kuhl-Cher Cafe will open two locations in the Arrivals Hall, bringing its signature brews to the space.

Brisbane Airport Executive General Manager Commercial Scott Norris said the new options are a major step forward in delivering the next evolution of International Terminal experiences while showcasing the best of Brisbane.

“This upgrade is about celebrating the best of Brisbane and giving our customers more of what they love: great food, great coffee and a great start to their journey,” he said.

Flight Centre also opened its brand-new location in the Departures Hall in October – the first new store as part of the International Terminal redevelopment.   

BNE’s International Terminal marked its 30th anniversary in September 2025.
