BOOK NOW: Air NZ's Direct Flights To New York Take Off From October

Air New Zealand will make history as the first carrier to launch direct flights between Australasia and New York with a brand new route from Auckland to New York launching in October 2020.

Air New Zealand will make history as the first carrier to launch direct flights between Australasia and New York with a brand new route from Auckland to New York launching in October 2020.

The thrice-weekly route which kicks off on 29 October is now officially open for bookings. Prices lead in from $847 each way.

Fares are available 350 days in advance and from today customers can book flights between Auckland and New York through to 4 January 2021.

The return services between Auckland and Newark Liberty International Airport will be served by Air NZ’s new configuration Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.

Flight time is expected to be 15 hours 40 minutes northbound and 17 hours 40 minutes southbound.

Lie-flat Business Premier beds, Premium Economy, Air New Zealand’s unique Economy Skycouch experience and new Economy Stretch legroom product are available on the New York route and to purchase at airnewzealand.co.nz.
