Boeing’s new generation 777X aircraft is billed to be the largest and most efficient twin-engine jetliner in the world. As we wait in anticipation for it to hit the skies, we’ve been given a sneak peek inside the cabin.

Boeing posted a rendering on Twitter of the 777X’s Economy Class cabin with the note that the cabins will have “better cabin altitude and humidity, temperature, sound quality and lighting”.

They also teased followers with an image depicting the overhead lockers to be installed on the aircraft, with Boeing explaining they are larger than your usual overhead lockers and provide more room for carry-on luggage.

“Lose that luggage anxiety! Overhead bins on the #777X are larger, providing more room for your carry-on. Plus they are easier to access”.

A third teaser on their Twitter feed said that the Windows on the #777X would larger and higher than the competition, giving everyone a view and more light no matter where you sit.

What’s not to love?

Boeing says the 777X, which will be tested in the skies for the first time later this year, will have 12 per cent lower fuel consumption and 10 per cent lower operating costs than the competition.

Emirates, Lufthansa and Singapore Airlines have already placed orders for the aircraft.
