British Airways says it’s paying homage to the glamour and heritage of flying with the opening of its new dedicated lounge in Singapore.
Officially launched this week, the lounge located in Terminal 1 at Changi Airport is part of the carrier’s $11 billion investment to improve the customer experience.
Exclusively available to First Class passengers and other eligible guests British Airways’ Head of Asia Pacific Sales, Robert Williams says it was designed to meet the tailored needs of the modern premium traveller while retaining familiar heritage qualities of flying.

“I am confident that our customers, whether they are travelling on business or going on holiday, will enjoy the privacy, state-of-the-art facilities, and incredible artwork on offer.”
The British Airways Changi Airport lounge is the first location to offer the airline’s new Concorde Bar, a private area exclusive to First customers.
The Concorde Bar features an opulent interior with black Nero marble surfaces, European oak flooring and bespoke furnishings. Customers will also be able to enjoy digital panoramic views of the Singapore skyline reflecting the time of the day outside, similar to a rotating restaurant. Eligible customers will be provided with an exclusive passcode to access the area.
The main lounge offers customers an upgraded space to work, relax or dine as they choose, in a space that features the finest in modern British design and style. It includes artwork from established Singaporean and British artists, including Simon Wee and Dr Brendan Neiland. All pieces on display have been curated and selected based on their links to Singapore.
Access to the new lounge is limited to British Airways First and Club World (business class) customers, British Airways Executive Gold and Silver members, and oneworld frequent flyers with Emerald and Sapphire status.
The Concorde Bar is exclusively for British Airways’ First customers and their eligible guests.
