Air Canada opened its first Maple Leaf Lounge at San Francisco International Airport (SFO), which includes the airline’s first-ever outdoor terrace and a top-shelf selection of food and drink from Canada and California.

The new 165-seat Maple Leaf Lounge at SFO is the airline’s third in the US and the 28th lounge currently available in 19 airports worldwide.

Located in Terminal 2, the 761m2 airport retreat pays homage to California in both design and décor and within the buffet and beverage selection that highlights local makers and flavours.

Unique seafood offerings, including the iconic San Francisco fish stew, cioppino, will be on offer alongside a selection of California wines and beer from Sierra Nevada Brewing Company and Anchor Brewing – America’s first craft beer.
