The technical issue was discovered at 5.30pm (Singapore time) on Thursday and lasted for around three hours affected check-in services at several airports including Changi, Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris and the Reagan Airport in Washington DC, Today Online reported.
It’s unclear how many air services were disrupted by the power outage, however, according to several social media posts, the disruption created significant queues in departure halls.
