If you want some heart warming news, this should do it for you. Tanami, a sensitive 19-month-old koala was given VIP treatment when he flew from Germany to Edinburgh on Eurowings.
You probably have so many questions right now, like what was this Aussie marsupial doing jetting around Europe?
Tanami was actually born in a German zoo as part of a special breeding program which works to save the threatened koala species.
Tanami was on the flight as he was moving to his new home at RZSS Edinburgh Zoo in Scotland in a swap with previous koala resident Toorie.
You might expect that being an animal, Tanami would have travelled in the hold.
Not a chance.
A special Zoo arrival has flown into Edinburgh! 19-month-old koala ,Tanami, travelled to the Zoo as part of the conservation breeding programme. As koalas are very sensitive, Tanami travelled in the plane's cabin with his keeper, and even had his own seat! https://t.co/6JEnl9J1MP pic.twitter.com/nU55uONCDT

Tanami not only had his own seat, he had a whole row of seats.
His keeper said koala’s are too sensitive to be put in the hold and this way he could easily check on the furry creature throughout the flight.
No doubt, plenty of passengers were bemused to see the unusual passenger on board the flight.
Chief Executive of Edinburgh Airport Gordan Dewar, said while they welcome passengers from all over the world to Edinburgh Airport, not all of them are as special or as cute as a koala.
“It was quite exciting to have Tanami arriving here and he joins a list of famous animals who have touched down here to make Edinburgh Zoo their new home.”

Tanami will join the only other koalas in Scotland at the zoo’s conservation breeding program.
Awwww.
