Delta Air Lines has unveiled its latest Distinctly Delta uniform collection in the US, incorporating designs from American lifestyle brand Lands’ End and Missoni, for wear-testing trials ahead of its full rollout in 2027.
The Distinctly Delta uniform range consists of four collections for above- and below-wing team members and will gather crew feedback on fit, function and feel during the wear-testing phase from now until mid-2026.
It brings back signature colours with aviation-inspired names, such as Navigator Navy, Boarding Burgundy, and Runway Red. A new shade of Powerful Pink enters the Distinctly Delta uniform collection, continuing a 20-year partnership with Breast Cancer Research Foundation and worn each October.

Delta will also bring back an updated version of its iconic wrap dress, first introduced in the early 2000s.
Delta Air Lines Managing Director of Uniform & Onboard Brand Experience Ekrem Dimbiloglu said: “Delta crews were iconic walking the concourse in the wrap dress. It was very Delta. Our people said ‘bring it back’, so we did.”

As an extension of the existing partnership, Delta will collaborate with Italian design house Missoni for refined accessories, including scarves, ties and pocket squares.

Every Distinctly Delta piece has been designed for comfort and performance with real-world conditions at the forefront — from ground crew teams in extreme weather and flight attendants crossing climates in a single shift to Airport Customer Service team members going from gate to aircraft and back again.

From pocket placement to fabric choices, every detail was informed by the 65,000 Delta people who wear the uniform.

Delta Air Lines Senior Vice President of Customer Experience Design Ranjan Goswami said the Distinctly Delta collection is more than a new uniform.

“It’s a brand statement of pride and purpose, designed with intention to help our people keep climbing,” Goswami said.

“There’s no better manifestation of the Delta brand than the Delta people who wear our uniform. Launching this collection represents a new era for Delta as we honour the past while designing a premium and timeless collection that leads us into our next 100 years.”
