In case you didn’t pick up on surfer tone above, All Nippon Airways’ new aircraft looks a lot like everyone’s favourite sea turtle from Finding Nemo, Crush.

Although not specifically designed to look like the super chilled Disney character, the plane was painted in sea turtle livery to reflect Hawaii, the destination it will be used to service.

Entering service on 24 May 2019, the airline’s first of three super jumbo jets will be used mostly to fly between Tokyo’s Narita Airport and Honolulu’s Daniel K. Inouye International Airport.

Beyond the eye-catching exterior, the aircraft sets itself from the rest of the All Nippon Airways fleet with ‘couch seats’ – seats that double up as a bed.
