Emirates launches ‘Take Me There’ campaign ahead of Father’s Day

Family comes first when it comes to holidays for dads, with research from Emirates airline*, showing that 74% of dads would choose family over friends as travel companions.

However, the survey found that almost a quarter of fathers surveyed (22%) had not been on a family holiday in over 10 years.

While many fathers want to take a family holiday, it seems this can be hard to coordinate, with more than half of male respondents (59%) saying that money is a barrier and 42% of respondents claiming that coordinating diaries and finding time for the family to take leave at the same time is a challenge.

The research comes as Emirates launches the ‘Take Me There’ campaign in the lead up to Father’s Day.

Aimed at inspiring Australians to consider their next holiday with family, the campaign will give families a chance to win the ultimate Father’s Day gift for dad – a family holiday including four flights to any of Emirates’ 140 international destinations.

As part of the campaign, Australians are invited to reminisce about their favourite holiday moments and ask their loved ones to ‘Take Me There’ by sharing a photo of a previous family holiday, to go into the draw to win four international flights.

The ‘Take Me There’ competition runs from 17 August until Father’s Day, Sunday 4 September 2016. To enter the competition and for further details and terms and conditions, visit the Emirates Facebook page or https://pro.iconosquare.com/detail/en/emiratestakemethere.

People can also enter on Instagram or Twitter by uploading their favourite family holiday photo, along with a caption noting which Emirates international destination (city) they would like to visit including #takemethere and @emirates.
