Emirates restarts daily A380 flights to Brisbane from 1 March

Emirates is continuing to ramp up its services to Australia to meet travel demand by relaunching daily flights to Brisbane.

Emirates is continuing to ramp up its services to Australia to meet travel demand by relaunching daily flights to Brisbane.

Consecutively, with the increase in frequency to the third most visited city in Australia, Emirates’ flagship A380 will make a comeback to the Queensland capital, also planned from 1 March.

The daily flight between Brisbane and Dubai will operate as EK430/431, and will offer 14 First Class suites, 76 lie-flat seats in Business Class and 426 ergonomically designed seats in Economy Class.

Currently, flights to and from Brisbane are scheduled six times per week utilising the Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.

The aircraft change and frequency increase will provide approximately 3,000 additional seats per week to both inbound and outbound travellers.

From 1 March, the daily schedule for EK430/431 is as follows:

Dates Flight Departure  Arrival
1 – 26 March EK430 (DXB/BNE) 02:50 22:40
2 – 27 March EK431 (BNE/DXB) 20:55 05:30 (next day)
27 March – 30 June EK430 (DXB/BNE) 02:30 22:20
28 March – 1 July EK431 (BNE/DXB) 21:55 05:10 (next day)

As an international airline that has been serving Australia for over 25 years, we are especially delighted to boost our services to Brisbane, adding more seats and frequency on flights to Dubai and bringing back our signature aircraft to the Queensland capital,” said Barry Brown, Emirates Divisional Vice President for Australasia.

“Since late last year, we have been busy quickly adapting our operations and boosting capacity in response to demand arising from the re-opening of our borders.

“As part of our unrelenting commitment to the country we have been determined to return to normalcy, where possible, as the travel industry recovers from the pandemic.”
