Auckland Airport is currently experiencing delays in international and domestic arrivals and departures as a blanket of fog clouds over the gateway.

Auckland Airport is currently experiencing delays in international and domestic arrivals and departures as a blanket of fog clouds over the gateway.

Air New Zealand has issued an update advising travellers of significant disruptions to and from the city, including the cancellation of all regional turbo-prop services.

Domestic and international jet services into the city are operating, with some disruption to domestic jets.

Travellers have been advised to check with their airline before leaving for the airport, to ensure their flight is still running on time.

Meanwhile, Air New Zealand customers booked to travel on cancelled services, who haven’t already been contacted by Air New Zealand, are advised to call the Air New Zealand Contact Centre

“As a consequence of the weather disruption call wait times are longer than normal,” the carrier said in a statement,

“We apologise to customers and appreciate their patience.”
