Etihad is giving Aussie travellers a good reason to stopover in Abu Dhabi by offering a free 48 hours in the UAE capital as part of its latest promotion.
Launched today, the offer sees Etihad cover two free nights of hotel accommodation for any guest who books a flight to and from all the airline’s destinations via Abu Dhabi.
Travellers can choose from one of 15 hotels, including the 5-star Intercontinental Abu Dhabi…
The uber-luxe Dusit Thani Abu Dhabi…
OR the Courtyard by Marriott WTC…

During the two-night layover, travellers will also be able to tick off several of the city’s must-do attractions (at their own expense), including a visit to the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, Louvre Abu Dhabi and the newly opened Presidential Palace Qasr Al Watan.
Adrenaline seekers can check out the intense G-force experience of Ferrari World’s roller-coasters, while families hang out with their favourite superheroes at the recently opened Warner Bros World.
