It's the age-old question: how can airlines get passengers to pay attention to the safety demonstration? It looks like low-cost American carrier, Frontier Airlines has found a solution.

It’s the age-old question: how can airlines get passengers to pay attention to the safety demonstration? It looks like low-cost American carrier, Frontier Airlines has found a solution.

A viral video shows passengers in stitches while Frontier Airlines flight attendant, Daniel Sandberg gives a cheeky safety announcement over the PA system.

He warns passengers that if they decide to leave the plane during the flight they will not be allowed back on board and that parachutes are not included.

“Here at Frontier Airlines, we like to keep up with all the latest fashion trends . In the event that this flight becomes a cruise, you all get your own itsy bisty teeny weeny yellow polkodot bikini.”

He says, refering to the life jackets needed during a water landing.

“The beautiful bikini is equipped with a water activated light. How in the world that works I have no idea so if you figure it out please do let me know,” he says.

Keeping it real he advises that “if by chance yours does not inflate, well grab your neighbour and hold on for dear life”.

When it comes to how to use the oxygen masks, the laughs only continue.

“Once you’ve stopped screaming place the oxygen mask over your nose and mouth,” he says.

“Let’s be honest only those of you who paid the extra $49,99 get any oxygen”.

He thanks everyone for paying attention before wishing those who did not GOOD LUCK in the event of an emergency.

Some say this may take away the seriousness of the safety demo, but we say kudos to Daniel for getting passengers to actually pay attention to the safety instructions for once!
