Travelling with Hong Kong Airlines? Get ready for some extra comfort. After a successful initial run, the carrier is extending its complimentary transit lounge campaign into next year and on extra routes.

The initiative allows Australian economy class passengers (you read that right) to relax in the swish Club Autus at Hong Kong International Airport – for free.

Originally launched in June, the offer now applies to flights to and from Sydney, Melbourne and Vancouver when transiting through Hong Kong until 31 March 2026.

Inside Club Autus, passengers will find hot meals, refreshments, showers and workstations – a handy haven for those facing a long layover.

The airline said the move underlines its focus on providing a seamless journey for international passengers, particularly those flying long-haul through one of Asia’s busiest hubs.

“We understand that long connections can be tiring. By offering complimentary lounge access, we aim to ensure our guests enjoy a premium experience that combines comfort, convenience, and care – hallmarks of Hong Kong Airlines’ service,” said Paul Forbes, Hong Kong Airlines’ representative in Australia.

To take advantage of this limited-time offer, which is available for travel between 20 June and 31 October 2025, passengers just need to present their first and connecting flight boarding passes to Club Autus staff.
