First, they created the world’s first beer hotel and now innovative Scottish craft brewer BrewDog is launching its very own airline with craft beers brewed especially for high altitudes.

BrewDog Airlines will take to the sky with a round-trip between London and Columbus, the capital of Ohio State and home of the Aberdeenshire brewery’s US headquarters and craft beer hotel.

The only prerequisite to boarding their chartered Boeing 767 is a love of beer.

Passengers will get to sample a limited-edition BrewDog beer, brewed to adapt to the reduction of taste and smell sensitivity in high altitudes.

They’ll also be treated to BrewDog eye masks, blankets and of course a special food and beer pairing menu.

The round trip includes a four-night stay in Columbus, where guests will tour the BrewDog brewery, visit The DogHouse Hotel, and explore the beer museum.

Co-Founder of BrewDog James Watt has confirmed that the first round-trip flight will take off in February 2019.

“We’re on a mission to open minds and excite people about what craft beer is and can be. Booking a seat on the plane is a must for any serious beer lover.”

James Watt, co-founder of BrewDog.

He said BrewDog Airlines will be an experience like no other, with the flight designed for “optimum beer enjoyment, from the food, to the entertainment, the cabin crew and most of all, the specially brewed high-altitude beer”. CHEERS TO THAT.
