The Qantas flight attendant who penned a famous tell-all book about the carrier was found dead in his Melbourne home last week.

It’s believed that the body of Owen Beddall, author of Confessions of a Qantas Flight Attendant, was discovered several days after the 40-year-old had passed, the Herald Sun reported.

His body is currently being investigated by a coroner, but his death isn’t being treated as suspicious.

The news of Beddall’s death was confirmed by his manager, Nicole Barker-Bryson, who took to Facebook to talk about her “beautiful friend”.

“During the launch of Owen’s book and his subsequent adventures, I had the pleasure of working with him on many wonderful projects.”

“He was a beautiful friend and I was incredibly proud of his success.”

Owen made headlines back in 2014 when he published his famous book, which dished the dirt on the world of flying and even exposed flying habits of various celebrities.

Friends say it was his lifelong dream to release the tell-all book, which he started writing in 2011 after a back injury prevented him from flying.
