Jetstar celebrates its 13th birthday with $399 return fares to Hawaii

Can you believe 13 years have passed since Qantas decided to venture into the low-cost segment with its very own budget carrier, Jetstar?!

Can you believe 13 years have passed since Qantas decided to venture into the low-cost segment with its very own budget carrier, Jetstar?!

Where has the time gone? Probably spent most of it travelling around Australia in a silver, orange and black aircraft for practically nothing.

Jetstar is pretty stoked to have officially reached its teenage years and is celebrating just as any adolescent would, by throwing a massive party (sale) that sticks it to anyone else’s gathering (discounts).

More than 300,000 return for free seats are available on the airline’s 83 domestic and international destinations right now, meaning travellers only pay for the departing flight!

So a  flight from Melbourne to Honolulu will cost around $399 + $0 to return = a cheap $399 return fare to Hawaii.

The offer is only available on bookings made through Jetstar’s website for travel periods in July-December this year and January- March 2018.

But you better be quick, the sale is on right now and ends at 11.59pm on 24 May 2017 or when fares are sold out.

Some of the routes available on the ‘return for free’ sale include Sydney to Ho Chi Minh return from $249; Melbourne to the Gold Coast return from $89; Sydney to Honolulu return from $339; and Brisbane or Adelaide to Bali from $169.

Will you be booking one of Jetstar’s ‘return for free’ fares?
