Jetstar will commence a new direct route from Gold Coast to Bali (Denpasar) from 1 August 2025, adding more than 58,000 seats between the two holiday hotspots each year and debuting with a 72-hour Route Launch Sale with fares available from $199 until 20 April 2025.

Jetstar will commence a new direct route from Gold Coast to Bali (Denpasar) from 1 August 2025, adding more than 58,000 seats between the two holiday hotspots each year and debuting with a 72-hour Route Launch Sale with fares available from $199 until 20 April 2025.

The new Gold Coast–Bali route will operate thrice weekly every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday on JQ’s newest Airbus A320neo aircraft – two of which will be based at Gold Coast Airport (OOL).

Flights will depart OOL at 6:15pm and arrive in Bali (DPS) at 10:35pm local time.

This announcement builds on the airline’s recent network expansion, which includes three new routes launching in June 2025 from the Gold Coast to Hamilton and Dunedin in New Zealand and a seasonal service to Darwin.

Jetstar Group CEO Stephanie Tully said Bali remains the top destination for its customers.

“We are thrilled to provide our customers with a low-cost connection between the Gold Coast and Bali,” she said.

“Bali has always been Jetstar’s most popular international destination and it’s not hard to see why with its beautiful beaches and resorts, delicious food, friendly locals, affordability, and proximity to Australia.”

Queensland Airports Limited CEO Amelia Evans said the additional flights would give customers more choice and boost capacity over other key markets, such as Melbourne, Perth, Cairns and New Zealand.

“Bali is a popular holiday choice for locals with more than 130,000 passengers travelling between the two destinations in the past two years,” she said.

“This is a huge win for our region, making Bali more accessible and providing more options for locals looking to book their next getaway!”
