O’ Holy night, the stars aren’t the only thing shining. In the dark of the night, there’s a plane that’s beautiful, colourful but almost blinding.
The season for bright multi-coloured lights has arrived, and easyJet is so in the spirit, that it turned one of its aircraft into a Christmas light show.
Gorgeous!
The low-cost carrier wrapped one of its A320 aircraft in 1.5 miles of Christmas lights for Luton Airport’s Christmas show, which took place over the weekend.
Unlike the diamond-encrusted Emirates aircraft, this is real!
The plane was the centre of 850,000 choreographed light sequences created by 10 special effects artists and lighting designers, Daily Mail reported, and unsurprisingly, it left the audience in awe.
We’re pretty in awe of these pictures (and this video).
Creating the World's Biggest Light Show – on a plane at London Luton Airport
What a show to celebrate our transformation and top off our 80th year! We were thrilled to treat our staff and their families to the world’s first Christmas light show on a 120ft aircraft, with a little help from our friends at easyJet of course!🎄 🎄🎅🏻🎅🏻

London Luton Airport’s Operations Director, Neil Thompson, said the Christmas show was a treat to mark the airport’s 80th anniversary and as a special Christmas gift to staff and customers.
