This month, the airline upgraded its Business Class product on flights to Adelaide, giving passengers access to latest inflight technology and comfort.

Speaking at a VIP launch event with Travel Agents, Malaysia Airlines’ Sales Manager VIC/TAS/SA/NT, Felicity Allan, said the new product emphasises the importance of Adelaide to the airline’s network.

“The launch of the new business class product in Adelaide is an important milestone for Malaysia Airlines, and we will soon recruit for a local Sales Executive based in Adelaide which further demonstrates our commitment and support to the region.”

The new A330 Business Class offers extra space with 43 inch seat pitch, 20.6 inch wide seat and converts to 76 inch fully flat bed. Guests have access to a wide variety of movies and high quality headphones.

It comes as airlines such as Qatar Airways and China Southern enter the market and others increase services to the city.

Alana Cetta from Flight Centre Rundle Mall was given the chance to experience the new Business Class seats for herself as the winner of x2 Business Class tickets anywhere in the world on the Malaysia Airlines network.

Other attendees were treated to wine tasting and a feast of the finest food South Australia has to offer, as well as being wowed by resident Magician, Scott Stunz, who provided some laughs during the night.
