Air Mauritius will boost Perth-Mauritius flights capacity from July 2026, adding a third weekly direct service that strengthens Western Australia’s connections to the Indian Ocean island paradise, Africa and Europe.
Air Mauritius is strengthening WA’s long-haul links with the return to thrice-weekly direct flights between Perth and Mauritius, increasing capacity on the route by 50 per cent for Australian travellers.
From 2 July 2026, the national carrier will operate three weekly services on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, enhancing onward connectivity from Mauritius to destinations across Africa and Europe and expanding the existing seasonal schedule.

The additional Thursday night departure will leave Perth Airport at 11:35pm, arriving at Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport (Mauritius Airport) at 4:15am on Friday, allowing travellers to maximise their first day on the island and connect efficiently to onward flights.
The enhanced schedule is designed to support smoother transfers and improved journey planning for both leisure and business travellers using Mauritius as a gateway beyond the Indian Ocean.

Recognised by Skytrax for long-haul excellence, Air Mauritius operates the Airbus A330-900 on the PER–MRU route, configured with 28 Business Class seats and 260 Economy Class seats.
The third weekly Perth-Mauritius flight will not operate during February and March 2027, a detail advisors should factor into client planning for early 2027 travel.
