When a Kiwi kid accidentally found out that he’d made it on the wrong side of Santa’s highly-confidential list, he attempted to reverse his charcoal fate by promising to be ‘nicer to Australia’.
And it worked!
Air New Zealand released its latest Christmas ad late last week, in which Santa Clause wasn’t so jolly after accidentally emailing his entire ‘naughty’ list to a random kid in New Zealand.
The child, after spotting his and his mates names on the unfortunate directory, decided to call a meeting of the United Nations of Naughty Kids with help from Air New Zealand to devise a plan that’d see them back on the ‘good’ side.
Argentinian children vowed to reduce their gas emmissions by 20 percent, while those in the UK and Japan promised to eat more vegatables and reduce hair pulling by 13 percent.
Meanwhile, the trio of Kiwi kids manage to get back on the good list by committing to their chores and spending less time on their phones. The threesome also managed to convince St Nick of their worthiness by promising tobe nicer to those living across the ditch, but quickly crossed their fingers behind their backs.
The adorable video called ‘The Nicest Christmas Ever’ starred 17 out of 300 children of Air New Zealand employees who’d auditioned for the clip. It also featured several Air New Zealand cabin crew as well as Santa and ‘Noel’, the elf from last year’s video.
