Qantas has unveiled a massive sale across its North and South American network, with thousands of discounted seats available for travellers planning their next getaway.

Qantas has unveiled a massive sale across its North and South American network, with thousands of discounted seats available for travellers planning their next getaway.

Economy return fares start at $999 from Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne to Honolulu, just in time for Melbourne’s inaugural Hawaii service launching 1 May.

Flights to Los Angeles, which had a tough start to 2025 with the city’s devastating fires, are on sale from $1,199 return from Sydney and Melbourne. Other standout fares include $1,399 to Vancouver and $1,799 to Santiago.

The sale spans select dates from April 2025 to January 2026, covering key travel periods like the Northern Hemisphere summer, Canada’s ski season and major US events such as Coachella.

The sale also includes fares to Dallas, to which the flying kangaroo will resume A380 flights in August for the first time since 2020.

Frequent flyers can also cash in their Classic Plus Flight Rewards, using points to book sale fares across all cabins. The sale runs until 26 March 2025, unless sold out earlier.

“We know Australians love to visit the Americas and last year alone, we flew over half a million customers to destinations across North and South America,” Qantas CEO International Cam Wallace says.

“We have included some of our most popular routes in this sale such as Santiago along with fan favourites LA and New York.

“We also have return fares to Honolulu starting from under $1,000, so there’s never been a better time to book a trip to Hawaii and beyond!”

After a “challenging start of the year”, LA Tourism says Los Angeles is “open for business and ready to showcase the city’s breadth of attractions, vibrant culinary scene, outdoor adventures and world-class sports and entertainment offerings”.

“Los Angeles continues to be a city of strength, creativity and endless opportunity and is ready to welcome back Aussies,” it states.

“While wildfires have impacted some communities, the heart of Los Angeles remains as vibrant as ever and the city is looking forward to welcoming back Aussies with open arms.”
