Bringing Western Australia’s ‘Walking on a Dream’ global tourism brand to Perth passengers, Qantas has teamed up with WA Wongi artist Kevin Wilson to feature his artworks on limited-edition amenity kits.
Available to Qantas Business international guests flying between Perth and London, Singapore or Rome, the kits include an eyemask printed with the artwork and Lit’ya skincare.
The artwork showcases elements of ancient tracks, waterways and animals from iconic WA destinations, including Ningaloo Reef, the Margaret River Region, the Kimberley and Perth.
Kevin Wilson, who is from the Western Australian Goldfields and a founding partner of creative agency Nani Creative, said he aimed to capture the story of wondering, exploration and discovery in his artwork.
“My work explores the interconnectedness of all this and the reason I feel our state is so special. It’s deep in culture and history, while also vibrant and expansive,” Mr Wilson said.
“I hope that the vivid, interwoven artwork sparks the adventure within and encourages people to explore our beautiful landscapes.
“Hopefully you can get lost in my artwork in the same way you can adventure across our state.”
Tourism WA Managing Director Carolyn Turnbull said it was a privilege to partner with Qantas to showcase the work of a Western Australian artist and the dreamlike aspects of the state with visitors.

Qantas Group Chief Customer Officer Markus Svensson said the amenity kits highlight the beauty and diversity of Western Australia.
“Along with inflight pyjamas, amenity kits are an important part of the Qantas international Business experience,” he said.
“Many customers repurpose them so we’re pleased to provide an opportunity to take home a special piece of artwork by a local Indigenous artist.”
Qantas operates 15 domestic routes to, from and within WA and three international routes from Perth to Singapore, London and Rome.
A direct flight between Melbourne and Learmonth launches on 30 April 2023, making Ningaloo Reef more accessible from Australia’s East Coast.
