Last minute planners are still able to grab themselves a ticket for travel between the UAE & London in April as Etihad Airways increases services during the busy holiday period.
Etihad Airways will increase its Abu Dhabi-London operations from three to up to four daily flights in April, which will add an additional 20 roundtrip services between the two cities.
The extra flights will commence on 5 April 2019 and run throughout the entire month.
Etihad confirmed that it will use its two-class Boeing 787-9 on the additional flight, giving customers the chance to test out the airline’s next-generation Business and Economy cabins, configured with 299 seats – 28 Business Studios and 271 Economy Smart Seats.
General Manager in the United Kingdom and Ireland, James Harrison, said he’s “thrilled” the announce more flights on the route and meet increased demand in the lead up to the Easter holidays.
“This is a busy travel time for families looking to enjoy the extended school holiday. This extra service will allow our guests more choice and flexibility with their travel plans.”

These services will operate in addition to Etihad Airways’ regularly scheduled three daily Abu Dhabi to London services, which will continue to operate with Airbus A380 aircraft, offering Economy, Business, First and The Residence.
