SkyTeam’s first exclusive lounge in Sydney has a TV room, wellness spa and electrical outlets.

Located at Gate 24, the lounge seats up to 140 people and is equipped with electrical outlets for guests to charge personal electronic devices.

There’s airport views for passengers who just want to sit and watch planes take off and land plus there’s a green botanical wall offering a natural, outdoor effect.

Business passengers will enjoy the lounge’s Wi-Fi and business area equipped with printing facilities.

Complimentary refreshments such as Champagne and wine are also provided.

Other perks of the lounge include a wellness center with showers and four full body massage chairs plus a dedicated TV room.

The lounge is available to the alliance’s Elite Plus members plus First and Business Class passengers flying on any of the seven SkyTeam airlines serving the airport. They include China Airlines, China Eastern, China Southern, Delta Air Lines, Garuda Indonesia, Korean Air and Vietnam Airlines.

“It is our duty to add value to our members’ businesses and with seven SkyTeam carriers present in Australia; we look to provide enhanced benefits through our customer initiatives such as this new lounge.”

Michael Wisbrun, SkyTeam managing director

The alliance group already has lounges in Heathrow and Turkey’s Ataturk Airport. New facilities are opening up in Dubai, Beijing and Hong Kong later this year.
