Singapore Airlines Group (SIA), comprising Singapore Airlines and Scoot, has reported a SGD$2.8 billion (around AUD$3.3 billion) net profit in its FY24-25 financial report, achieving its highest ever profit and revenue to date while also flying a record 39.4 million passengers across both carriers.
The record passenger volume represents an 8.1 per cent increase on the previous full-year period, ending 31 March 2024, and has contributed to the SGD$1.7 billion (around AUD$2 billion) operating profit.
Group revenue climbed 2.8 per cent year-on-year for a record SGD$19,540 million driven by resilient demand for air travel and cargo uplift in FY2024/25.

SIA attributes its record performance to several strategic factors, including the boost from the one-off non-cash accounting gain of SGD$1.1 billion from the Air India-Vistara merger in November 2024. SIA now holds a 25.1 per cent stake in the enlarged Air India.
It also caps off a year of fleet investments and aircraft upgrades.

As of 31 March 2025, the Group’s operating fleet has 205 aircraft, including 145 Singapore Airlines passenger aircraft and seven freighters, while Scoot has 53 passenger aircraft.
In April 2025, the Group added one Airbus A321neo and one Boeing 787-8 to its fleet with 78 aircraft on order.

The Group’s passenger network covers 128 destinations in 36 countries and territories with Singapore Airlines flying to 79 destinations and Scoot to 71 destinations.
From 16 June 2025, SIA announced it will increase services to Brisbane.
In a strategic partnership, All Nippon Airways (ANA) and SIA will commence revenue-sharing flights between Japan and Singapore from September 2025 with joint fare on sale in May 2025.

SIA will also install all-new long-haul cabin products across its Airbus A350-900 fleet, including introducing the new First Class cabin in seven A350-900ULR aircraft.
The Group said it remains in a strong position to navigate global trade and macroeconomic uncertainties due to its robust foundations and long-term strategic investments.
