The special offer is back and giving travellers the chance to pay from $249 for a flight to the Land of the Rising Sun and $0 for the return flight home.

In case you missed the last ‘Japan Return for Free’ offer, you log onto the budget airline’s website and search for an outbound fare during the sale dates. One you’ve selected your flight to, you then scroll through for an available return fare that costs zero dollars.

The sale is only on for five days so be sure to book before 7 February 2017.

It’s also only available for travel from 23 March to 30 November 2017, which may fall outside the peak snow period but is still ideal for taking in the popular Cherry Blossom season and the stunning fall/autumn period.

There are also a number of different routes holidaymakers can take in Japan, including the well-travelled Golden Route or the up and coming Traditional Route.

Fares vary depending on the city, however, they start from $249 for travel from Cairns to Tokyo, or $299 from Cairns to Osaka. There’s also $502 tickets from Sydney to Tokyo or $510 fares for Brisbane to Osaka.
